"Hello, I came across your site online when researching Affpuddle. My grandmother was evacuated from Southampton to Affpuddle in the second world war, I have a photo of her stood outside the thatched cottage that she stayed in. I am trying to find out some more info about Affpuddle around that time, when did the bomb his Affpuddle? The family my Nan stayed with was called Brett, I am also interested to trace them to find out what sort of people they may have been since my Nan speaks kindly of them.
