Report on The Mad Woman in the Attic show - 14th April, 2008 The Boiling Kettle Company. Despite the rather odd name for both the production company and the play on 14th March, the Company put on an amusing, poignant and thought-provoking monologue. The play, wirtten by Sian Willaims and performed by Sally Sanderson, told the story of an elderly widow living in the granny annex of her son's house and being patronised by her daughter-in-law.... more |

Report on The Beacons show at the Village Hall - 14th April, 2008 On 23rd February the Beacons gave a fantastic performance of violin, guitar and accordian music. We were kep enthralled by the lively playig of Eastern European music. Not only were they talented performed, but both (Oli Wilson Dickson and Eddy Jay) were charming and stayed for two nights and spent the day of the performance with Bill and me.
