Although the parish population of 450 leans towards the older generation there is plenty going on. Using the the two main venues of the Village Hall and right alongside, the Bladen Social Club, activities range from talks about wildlife and local history, film shows, barn dances and supper evenings to horticultural shows, keep fit and singing. All that is really needed is for the youth to pop up and make its bid for useful activity!
